Finding the Right Supportive Sports Bra
I used to buy all of my sports bras at Walmart. I thought that they were all about the same, and that used to be true, but it isn’t any longer. Which is a good thing, because generally speaking the kind they sell at Walmart are great if you are a size A or B, but don’t work so well if you are a C or higher.
I have found that the best types of sports bras for fuller figures employ the divide an conquer approach. This has several benefits. First of all (being the vain person that I am). I like that you get more definition – in other words they help eliminate uniboob. Secondly they give you way better support and really help to control bounce. Here are some features that I really like.
T- back – stays put and doesn’t slip off your shoulders Underwire – can’t beat it for support and control Internal side support panels – these don’t really need any explanation True sizing – like 34 DD, and not small, medium, and large Pretty colors – appeals to my vanity
When you find these features in a sports bra, you pretty much know that you have a winner.
If you are ordering online (and that is sometimes the only place you can find bras like this) then you should know always be sure to check out the customer comments so that you can get an accurate idea on the fit of the bra. They sometimes run small.
