Also, is it acceptable (if your thin) to wear a sports bra and yoga pants to the gym without a shirt. and is the gym a good place to find nice respectfull men?

It depends on your gym and your bra. The bras by Nike, New Balance, etc. are made to be worn as a “shirt” Don’t wear the Champions and so forth … in other words if you buy it in the intimates section, no, but if you buy it in the sports store with the matching pants, yes. I’ve seen a few girls make that mistake and the gym and it wasn’t pretty.
Some guys are nice … again, it depends on your gym. If it’s the kind of meat-market place than not so much, but if its the neighborhood gym – possibly.

i hate sports bras in the normal non-gym environment. they give you this big uni-boob look which is so unattractive under normal clothes. I much prefer my regular bras.
it is OK for someone like your description to wear job bra thing to the gym with yoga pants. I can’t comment on meeting men there. it hasn’t worked for me, but I am not tiny or thin.
